I recently gave an interview for a website called What’s Up Korea. You can read the full text here.
Cheollipo Arboretum | Where Tranquility Awaits
June 29, 2009My piece on Cheollipo, that beautiful arboretum on Korea’s east coast, is up (Page 81).

June 25, 2009King Yeongjo | Donggureung Tomb Complex

Shawn Parker Photography
June 9, 2009Some excellent work here on Shawn Parker’s Flickr page. Love his use of lighting.
A Tale of Two Creatives | Dave Homcy Photography
June 1, 2009My brother sent me the link to Dave Homcy’s site this morning. Not only is his photography damn good but his cinematography is inspiring as well. It seems a natural progression for photographers to make the move from photography to cinematography.
Encompass | Tracey Tomtene Photography
May 22, 2009My friend Tracey was just in New York promoting her work. It was a worthwhile effort that garnered her some significant interest. So much so that she’s considering leaving Vancouver to make the Big Apple her home for the next little while. Her book, entitled “Encompass” is now available for purchase. Brilliant stuff. Skim through it from the link I posted. It’s fully loaded. With 112 pages under its hardbound hood it’s well worth the price tag. I’ve just bought myself a copy.

Koreana | Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty
May 13, 2009Great photo essay in this season’s Koreana magazine. Grab a copy if you can.
Sides of Seoul | MTV World Photo Essay
April 30, 2009Last year MTV World discovered my blog and asked me to contribute a photo essay to a new site they were putting together. Titled “Sides of Seoul: Apgujeong” there are roughly twelve shots in the set. They’ve revamped the site somewhat from when my essay initially went up.
Visual Voodoo
April 29, 2009I’m always on the hunt for inspiration. I stumbled upon Chase Jarvis’s site this morning and was blown away by his work. He’s also got a nifty blog.
