Club Espresso | Cafés in Seoul
Club Espresso and Roasters are two of the best coffee shops in Seoul. If you’re after affordable, quality coffee, then you can do no wrong trying either out.
Good thing about Club Espresso is that it’s minutes away from Seoul Fortress Wall’s Changuimun entrance. I was out hiking today and dropped by for a mug of Brazilian (5,000 won).
Club Espresso has been pouring the city’s best brews since 1990. Its rustic, wooden décor has a very bright and inviting appeal to it. The café is known for bringing some of the best beans from around the world. You’ll find coffee from Tanzania, Ethiopia, Panama, and Brazil here.
Bags will run you 8,000 won (100 grams) and 15,000 won (200 grams). There’s even a sampling station where you can try different varieties.
Beans are all roasted on site. Head up to the second floor to grab a peek.
Getting there: From Exit 5 at Gyeongbokgung Station (Line 3) grab bus number 7022, 7212 or 1020 and get off at Jahamun-gogae (sixth stop). The café is a short 5min walk up from there.
