Gorgeous time lapse video of Seoul shot with a Canon 5D Mark II. Just incredible. This clip alone is better than most branding initiatives I’ve seen to date. Had it been around when I was deciding to come and work in the city, one viewing would have done the trick.

Good question. That’s Millenium Plaza/Jongno Tower (beside Jonggak Station) in the background. My guess is way up high in Lotte Hotel right downtown (near Myeondong) or some other skyscraper in the vicinity.
I recognize the Hana Bank in the foreground. I believe that’s near Euljiro 1-ga Station. They usually string extravagant Christmas decoration up every year.

This was well done and used some nicely chosen iconic images. Of course, time-lapse photography can make anything look more dynamic, but this is no false advertising: it really does capture the mood of our fair city.
