Kim Jung-man | Korea’s Ace Photographer
November 9, 2010
Kim Jung-man is still widely regarded as Korea’s most commercial photographer. But that’s a title he isn’t too comfortable wearing anymore.
Having spent the large part of his youth in West Africa, Kim is much more drawn to rediscovering his roots through his work nowadays. I asked him a few questions about his work to date and just what the future has in store for him. Photos below courtesy of Alex Zolbert.

I’m new to your blog. Thank you for introducing me to one of Korea’s master in photographers. I’m preparing for a trip to Seoul, and I’m interested in everything South Korean
It’s original alright. I was watching a program on SBS at lunch today about him. He brought the crew into his home and talked about his career to date and what the future holds. As for sources, there isn’t much online of his stuff unfortunately. That may soon change.
I dig the guys butterfly tattoo on his neck. By the way, what are some good sources for checking out his work?
