Busan bound. Heading down tomorrow. Then back to Seoul for Rufus Wainwright on Sunday!

♦ It’s scenes like this that make me miss Busan.
♦ Flash Parker’s still taking incredible shots like this. That’s just frustratingly good.
♦ Possible Nikon D800 leak? Here’s hoping this one materializes.
♦ Kim Duk-soo’s brilliant PAN performance runs until December 31st.
♦ David Kilburn talks with Matt Kelley about the need to save Seoul’s hanoks.
♦ CNNGo has a great write-up about the PIFF.
♦ Noryangjin remains one of my favourite markets in Seoul.
♦ Really like the look and feel of this shot. And this one.
♦ Chase Jarvis tests the new Nikon D7000.

NOTEI’ve been doing some maintenance here and there recently, beefing up slideshows and adding tips and tidbits to travel-related posts. I found the overall look was becoming a little too artsy. I want to start throwing up more info-worthy stuff. In other news, I have a few pieces in the pipeline for CNNGo which I’ll be throwing up soon enough.

Thanks Shawn! It’s looking like both Canon and Nikon will be releasing some heavy guns sometime next year – likely third quarter. Rumor has it they’ll both be beefing up resolution and Canon may be slapping the new 5D Mark III inside the awesome 7D housing. As for Nikon, damn hope they’ll be a successor to the D700. People keep raving about pixel count, but what still makes Nikon champion is its amazing low light capabilities.

I try to stay away from your blog and FB page these days. Gets me far too restless. Was living vicariously through your posts for a while… then the jealousy kicked in and I gave up. ;) Your snaps from Malaysia rock.

This blog gets better and better – I’m getting settled here in Cali now and should be doing more of my own an I’ll be sure to get some of your fantastic stuff up!

I am waiting on the D800 as well; I think it’s should be a world beater. As long as my old girl doesn’t kick out right now, if it doesn’t make it through the year it’s D3S for this cowboy!

Indeed it is. And with the rumour mill heating up again I’m getting anxious.

Is a D800 on your wishlist?
