Cha Masineun Tteul | Teahouses in Seoul

December 16, 2009

Got a few hours to kill on a Sunday afternoon? I recommend a visit to Cha Masineun Tteul (722-7006), a beautiful hanok teahouse in the Bukchon area.

Be sure to try the signature sweet pumpkin rice cake (6,000 won) and omija cha (7,000 won), a five-flavor berry tea. Great for weekends when the city gets a little too much.

It is a bit tricky to get to but the views are great. The area’s one of my favourites and new places are popping up all the time.

    hey G,
I love this place as well. it’s a bit far from the center of Samchung-dong but that’s how you get out of the crowd right?
I guess the peripheral parts are now growing in Samchung-dong just like Hongdae area.
