Okyeonjeongsa | The Spirit of Andong

November 20, 2009

I’m off to Andong this weekend and will be posting plenty from that trip. For now, go have a peek at Shim’s great set in today’s Image of Korea. Love that wooden architecture. There’s something about staying in a traditional hanok during the winter months that’s far more appealing than when it’s warm out. Maybe it’s just the Canadian in me. On the subject, there’s a good article about those very culturally rich buildings in today’s JoongAng Daily.

It’s just been a little maddening lately. Together with planning my winter trip to Europe and renewing my Visa with HS Ad, I’m still busy trying to wrap up a few new projects at work. Before I sign off, Chris in South Korea wrote a nice little piece I wish I had written myself on the pros and cons of coming to Korea. Something to consider for any of my readers that may be on their way over.
