Korea on Foot
November 12, 2009
British traveller, Oliver Raw, walked from Busan to Seoul in the Spring of 2008 and has the photos to prove it. Head to his website to view his gallery. Apparently he has another walk in the works, only this time it will be a little longer. Pretty impressive stuff.

Sounds like that would have been an amazing trip.
My initial post-Korea plan was to leave Korea and take the ferry from Sokcho to Vladivostok, then take the Transsiberian from Vladivostok to Moscow, with a detour into Mongolia for a couple weeks. Unfortunately, both of my travel companions backed out at the last minute, and since the trip had only been affordable based on the assumption of shared costs, I had to cancel. I’d still love to do it some day.
I agree with you there. I have a friend in Mongolia and I’ve been meaning to get up there for a while now. It’s absolutely beautiful from what I’ve seen in his photo sets.
One of the things I would like to do some day is to walk across a country. I toyed with the idea of walking across Massachusetts once, and I can do 20-25 miles in a day quite easily, so I think it’s something within reach. I really would love to do Mongolia.
