Rakkojae in Bukchon

Rakkojae is a beautiful hanok (traditional Korean home) guesthouse in Bukchon. I was in the area the other week shooting for my CNNGo piece and thought I’d head back. If you want to step into Korea of yesteryear and experience homegrown, friendly service, then drop in for the night.

That is actually a pretty good price considering the location and the fact that meals are included. My wife and I are definitely going to have to spend at least one night there the next time we are in Seoul.
Sure is. Prices range from 150,000~200,000 a night. Yet, that’s a small price to pay for that kind of quality. Meals are inclusive. The owner has also opened up one in Andong which I have been meaning to get to.
