Seolleung’s Solemn Grounds

Not too far from my apartment there’s a beautiful park that’s home to both the tombs of King Seongjong, the 9th monarch of the Joseon Dynasty and his queen, Queen Jeongjyeon. The grounds were deemed historic site No. 199 and are scattered with all kinds of ancient relics. I was there yesterday soaking in the Sunday afternoon heat.
