Royal Spring
SEOUL selected my snap of the changing-of-the-guards ceremony in front of Gyeongbokgung Palace for this month’s cover shot. Needless to say, I am pretty happy about that. I really liked the way that pic turned out. You can view the larger version here. The original is a little more vibrant. I tend to de-saturate my pictures – a technique I may have overused somewhat lately.
The photo below is from the magazine’s gallery section. I took that at Changdukgung Palace in a secret garden. It is absolutely beautiful during spring and summer. If any of you haven’t been to Changdukgung Palace make sure you do visit. Hands down, it remains my favourite among Seoul’s five grand palaces. You can purchase the poster format here.

I finally got the book when I was taking a stroll samchungdong this afternoon, I found the underground multi shop, seoul selection, I immediately went down in order to get the book your photos including in. when I opened the door, I was busy finding the book, now i finally got that book. yeah it’s totally amazing great job indeed, I’ve had an experienced that one of my photos almost selected but couldn’t go to the final, but I was so happy to be acknowledged from others. hmm well, I feel sad that the photos in the book are not good comparing with your original one but I am ok because I can see origianl ones and the rest of photos of the palace or else on this site. that’s why I am calling myself the luckest
